Ourlives

"Ourlives are an explosive, emotive, expansive four-piece, poised and ready at the start of their music recording lives -- a band clearly capable of injecting their own edge and making powerful forward-looking, life-touching music. Hailing from Reykjavik, Iceland, the music they make is a dramatic crossover hybrid of melodic intelligent progressive rock and warm powerful emotional pop."

Ourlives is a band made up of Leifur (Vocal / Guitars),  Bjössi (Bass / Keys / B.Vocals), Garðar (Drums), Hálfdán (Bass /guitar). The reminds me another great band from Iceland, Dikta. 


Ourlives had released their debut album "We Lost The Race" in 2008. Their track “Núna” caught the attention of Grammy award-winning producer David Bottrill, who brought them to Canada to record three more songs for the album.


In 2011, they released their debut US album "Out Of Place".  When you listen to the songs of "Out of Place", each track becomes quickly a real addiction. This Ep is available on bandcamp, amazon and itunes.

Chase Gassaway

Chase Gassaway is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Austin, TX. He has been seen performing a variety of things on stage including – electric/acoustic guitar, keys, bass, percussion, harmonica, accordion, bells, and trombone.

Chase's first release was "Black Like My Coffee" in 2005. He has participated to many artists' record as a musician as well as his solo career.

In the fall of 2010, he was commissioned to score the short film, Take Two directed by Matthew Tibbenham. The score contained works for string quartet, mixed folk ensembles, and pop songs. 

In the winter of 2011, he formed Canaries In The Coal Mine with fellow songwriter Jordan Whitmore. Their first project was a Christmas album called Scarf Weather, which contained originals and holiday favorites.

Elaine Faye

Elaine Faye, is an up and coming soul shaker, groove maker and heart strings manipulator originally from Seattle Washington but currently based out of San Diego/Los Angeles California. Her music blends two parts soul, to one part pop, with a tea spoon of folk creating a unique and alternative take on southern California soul.

Austin Hartley-Leonard is a singer-songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles. As well as his solo career, Austin has played cello with such artists as Greg Laswell, Cary Brothers and Laura Jansen. Austin is also collaborated with Brad Gordon and Mike Duffy. Together hey have created the rock band Broken Anchor Blues.

Mieka Pauley

Mieka Pauley is a singer-songwriter who come from Massachusetts and is now based out of Brooklyn. "Mieka Pauley possesses a voice that flows like good whiskey and a frankness that makes Alanis Morissette look shy. She conjures up a sonic immediacy with the same masterful command as Ani DiFranco with driving, yearning melodies that stand alongside the work of Michelle Shocked, Neko Case and Emmylou Harris."

The Fairchilds

The Fairchilds is a rock band spearheaded by a french singer-songwriter Cyril Niccolai. Cyril Niccolai is from Cote d'Azur in France and has moved to Arizona to pursue his music career.

Because Of Lily is a band from Paris made up of Crystal Petit, Nyr Raymond, Jeremie Coke and Arnaud Renaville. "Because Of Lily (B.O.L.) Because Of Lily is the fusion of two voices alongside an old guitar and a scotched-up tambourine. It’s a sort of masculine and feminine hybrid of a unique musical soul."

Because Of Lily are working on their first EP. They are raising money on KissKiss BankBank for that. There are 16 days left if you want to pledge for this project.

Llyod Williams

Llyod Williams is a british singer-songwriter and musician from Brighton. He is the particularity to use as a main instrument a banjo. It's quite rare to hear a banjo in songs. Llyod Williams is known for his amazing banjo and guitar techniques. As well as his solo career, Llyod is also the singer of the band Autumn Red.
