Hailing from Brampton, AHI (pronounced “I”) is a Canadian Indie-Soul singer-songwriter with a hoarse voice. He has developed his trademark sound, BLUEBLACKmusic: a raw, passionate and edgy style that pierces the soul. Simply put, BLUEBLACKmusic is “The Deepest of All Blues.”
AHI has often been compared to the likes of Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Richie Havens, Otis Redding and even Sam Cooke. He performes whether solo, accompanied by his wife Ahshatèn on the viola, or backed by a full band. AHI has released his self-titled EP in october 2012. You can buy this EP on itunes.
