Meiko wrote the song "Happy Being Alone" as an entry for Perez Hilton's "write Taylor Swift's next song" competition.

Few days ago, I have presented you the band "The New Limb". They have a new great song "Blood Lust".

"Joey Chavez reveals that "This is a song about having an intense lust for goodness—like if James Dean had done what Mother Theresa did instead of acting, it would have been cool and sexy as well as beautiful." Led by sparkling synth, airy harmonies, and pop-leaning melodies, the tune's good vibrations echo in both its message and instrumentation, delivering a truly vibrant new track."

Elaine Faye has released a new song with The Big Bang. This great song called "Justify" is a mix of pop, soul and R&B music. You can download "Justify" for free on bandcamp.

Gianna Salvato, the young singer songwriter from New York, did a great cover of the song Skyscraper by Demi Lovato.

"Live And Die" (cover)

"The Scientist" (cover)

Ida Gard has participated to the "Operation Dagsværk kampagnesang, Irak'12" and has sung the song "Ukrudt" with UFO and Krudtfar. You can download this song for free : http://od.dk/ukrudt

Jenna Bryson has released a new song called "Promise Me". 3 versions of the song are available : main, clear lyric and a stripped mix. You can buy them on itunes.

Jessi Robertson has recorded a new song "(ill) legitimately" . Here's what she said about that song "When I heard Todd Aiken's remarks about "legitimate rape" it made me burn with anger. I don't normally write political songs, and I'm not even sure if this qualifies as political, but my feelings on this subject were so overwhelming that I had to get it out in song."

There are two versions here from the same basic recording. One is stripped down with just guitar and vocal while the other is more full with drums, organs, and other assorted sounds.

Moreover, James Wilson of the blog My Random Jukebox did a great interview with Jessi. If you haven't read it yet, check it out !

Kristin Diable made a video for her new song "Eyes Up To The Horizon" live in an empty house.

WILKES has released a version of O Come Emmanuel as a christmas single. You can buy this song on itunes.

Jessi Robertson

Jessi Robertson is a singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Jessi Robertson has an hauntingly and captivating voice. Her last record "Small Town Girl" was released in march 2011. You can buy all her songs on bandcamp, itunes and amazon.

"Musically, Jessi lives on the divide between gutsy indie rockers such as PJ Harvey and gritty Americana artists like Lucinda Williams. Embracing this duality, her performances can feel as intimate as a conversation, or as deep and dark as an ocean, and Jessi refuses to shy away from difficult subjects. The songs on "Small Town Girls" address domestic violence, mental illness and alienation, and yet are unflinchingly hopeful, too, shedding light into Jessi's own darkest corners."
