Anna Johnson did a cover of "Fix You" by Coldplay with her sister Julia for the 22nd Living Room Session.

Brooke Annibale had her song "You Don't Know" used in the episode 5 of the 5th season of Vampires Diaries.

Jess Penner will be releasing a new album in January called "Building Heaven". In the meantime, you can watch this teaser of her upcoming album.

Maria Zouroudis did a great cover of "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus. She brings it a further touch of sensitivity.

Meiko has a new funny official video for her song "Bad Things". That song was also used in the same episode of Vampire Diaries as for "You don't know" by Brooke Annibale.

ODyL has shared a new song on her youtube channel called "Les moins que bien". Her EP is available on itunes and her upcoming album should be out in 2014.

Roo & The Howl has released a new  video for the song "To The River". This song has been one of my favorite by Roo & The Howl since it has been shared on soundcloud. I have listened to it over and over again. The melody is really beautiful. This great video reflects quite well the song.

Secret Someones has released their first song "I won't follow". These four amazing musicians have combined their talent to create a fantastic pop/rock song. "I won't follow is available on bandcamp.

Tyrone Wells has made an acoutic video for his song "A beautiful place to be" in the tour bus.

Some updates concerning artists featured on the blog

I'm planning to give some improvement to the blog during the summer. I'll keep you updated about that when things will become a bit more concrete. For that, I've also started to list emails for each artists featured here (Well I've tried because some are missing), and I've realized that some artists are now in a band or have changed their names ... So I thought a small recap about all the changing happened during the year could be usefull.

  • Alice and The Glass Lake
Alicia Lemke, now known under Alice Lake, has started a new project called "Alice and The Glass Lake", inspired by the Glass Lake. "Alice & the Glass Lake is the sonic dream world of Wisconsin native Alice Lake. The Glass Lake harnesses escapism through dancing melodies, honest lyrics and ambient sonic landscapes. "

Alice and The Glass Lake's debut EP, The Evolution, is available since June 11th, 2013 on itunes, bandcamp, spotify and soundcloud. For those of you who prefers hard copies like me, you can order them directly from Alice.

  • MYPET
Amy Kuney is now in a band called MYPET with Ray. Unlike Amy Kuney's style, the music of MYPET is rather a mix of electronic and pop music.

MYPET has released a first EP "Reflex" which is available on bandcamp. They have also made many official videos for their new songs. Here's the video of their song "Pays To Know".

  • Novelette
Cara Salimando has joined the band Novelette. Novelette is a Brooklyn/Denver collaborative band comprised of Cara Salimando  (vox/lyrics/keys), Billy Libby (vox/guitar/everything) and Patrick Meese (drums/percussion).

  • Roo & The Howl
Bekah Wagner is now known under the name Roo & The Howl.

"The word “roo” derives itself from the old english word for “quiet”, which when combined with “howl” provides a startlingly accurate description of Bekah Wagner, the Colorado songstress behind Roo & The Howl.  Presently putting the finishing touches on the material for her debut album (due out early 2014), Roo’s music brings together sorrow and beauty in the best traditions of indie, folk and Americana."
