Holly Drummond has released a new EP called "In The Dark". This EP contains 5 songs and 1 remix. "In The Dark" is available on itunes since September 2nd, 2013. She has released an official video for the debut single of this EP "These Four Walls".

Few days ago, I told you about Kristyna Myles's new single "The Paris Match". The official video for that song is now out. The song will be released September 9th and you can already pre-order it on itunes.

Kristyna Myles is back with "The Paris Match"

Kristyna Myles, the singer-songwriter hailing from Manchester, will release her new single "The Paris Match" on September, 9th. This song was originaly released by the band The Style Council", and moreover September, 9th will mark the 30th year anniversary of its original release.

I must admit that I didn't know the original version of "Paris Match" before. I've listened to it quite recently. However, I think Kristyna really bring something more to that song.

I've had the chance to discover this song live few moths ago when I went to see Kristyna performing at No Man's Land in Villeurbanne. She sang that song only accompagnied by Ben Williams on guitar. It was a beautiful and magical moment. As I know it's sometimes hard to hear about a song and not being able to listen to it yet, you can take a look of the video I took of the show meanwhile the official release of "The Paris Match".

I could have an exclusive preview of the recorded version of "The Paris Match" and that song still gives me goosebumps . I think you would agree with me if I say that Kristyna has an amazing voice. The instrumental parts is really beautiful. The piece of piano gives an additional touch of beauty to the song and I love the saxo part as well. The beginning of the song with only the piano and Kristyna's gorgeous voice is just stunning ! I can wait for you to listen to it. Meanwhile, you can watch the official teaser.

If you like the song, you can already pre-order it on itunes. A percentage of the single sales will go to the charity Centrepoint whom Kristyna is an ambassador for.

Live @ No Man's Land - Part 2 : Kristyna Myles

Nearly a month ago, I told you about the show I went to see at a bar in Villeurbanne, France. Laura Esther has opened Kristyna Myles' show.

I get to know Kristyna's music since nearly two years ago thanks to Charlotte Gomes. I was really glad to have the opportunity to see Kristyna in live. It's quite rare when some of the artists I like and who featured on the blog come here.

The last time Kristyna went in France for a show was 3 years ago. She came here for 2 shows in may, one in Paris and one in Villeurbanne next to Lyon. The show was sucessful. Kristyna had known how to captivate her french audience.

You may already know Ben Williams. He is the guitarist of Kristyna Myles. Ben has written several songs for other artists and also have a solo career. Holley Maher has released a new EP "February".  It was produced by JT Spangler, in his living room studio in 3 days on a shoestring budget. 

"It was kind of an experiment to see what would happen if we stripped away all the fancy editing, production, etc., and just focused on the song, in it's truest and most raw form. It features vocal stylings and co-written songs by great friends and great musicians, including Jeremy Lister, Evan McHugh, Perrin Lamb, and Quinn Erwin."

Kristyna Myles performed her song "Wouldn't Change A Thing" live at Sessions at Thomas Bar, Manchester, accompanied by guitarist Ben Williams. This song is one of the song from Kristyna's upcoming debut album.

She has also sang a couple of tracks for Ont'sofa Gibson Sessions. The first song of this series is "Just Three Little Words". Keep an eye on Ont'Sofa's website or youtube page to watch the other ones.

Kristyna Myles

Kristyna Myles is an singer-songwriter from Manchester. She writes pop/soul songs and has an incredible voice !!! A huge thank you to Charlotte Gomes who told me about this great artist she works with.

She started her musical career by busking in the street. In 2005 she was named Busker Of The Year on BBC Radio 5 Live. She has since performed on BBC television and radio, recorded at Abbey Road studios and played dates across Europe. In 2009, Kristyna had one of her song in the Universal Music TV advertised compilation album "Songbird", which made her broke into the UK album chart Top 10. She was the only then unsigned artist to be featured on the album.
